CONTIGO Fuerteventura establishes a new local branch in La Oliva
CONTIGO Fuerteventura has established a new local branch in La Oliva.
CONTIGO Fuerteventura established its new local branch in La Oliva this Sunday, 4 October, as part of the organisation’s territorial expansion across the island.
The local committee was established at an electoral assembly, where members elected the new board. Augusto Miguélez will lead the branch as president, while Martha Millán will serve as secretary and Javier Coaya will take on the role of treasurer.
After his election, Miguélez thanked members for the confidence they had placed in him to lead this new stage for the organisation in the municipality of La Oliva.
José Manuel Quintana, president of CONTIGO Fuerteventura and head of Expansion in the Canary Islands, also took part in the assembly and signed the minutes as chair. Quintana congratulated the new branch’s members and elected officers, highlighting, according to the organisation, the team’s “enthusiasm and commitment” to advancing the project in the municipality.
The organisation’s expansion in Fuerteventura
The creation of the La Oliva branch marks a further step in CONTIGO’s establishment across Fuerteventura.
The organisation says it aims to continue expanding its presence on the island and take its project to the different municipalities, with the intention of addressing the demands and needs raised by residents.
With the establishment of the new committee, CONTIGO adds another local structure in Fuerteventura, this time in one of the island’s northern municipalities.
