Statements from Cristina Valido, Coalición Canaria MP in the Congress of Deputies

The Coalición Canaria MP made these statements while attending, on Saturday, the Centenary Market marking Casillas del Ángel’s incorporation into Puerto de Cabras. Cristina Valido also called for information about the recent surge in migration to the Canary Islands, with a thousand migrants arriving on El Hierro in just two days, and for more resources to control the southern border. She criticised the central government for failing to provide the resources needed to deal with the arrival of boats and warned that the Canary Islands need investment and planning.
