Pájara Town Council improves facilities at Morro Jable Senior Citizens’ Centre

Pájara Town Council, through its Works Department, led by Alexis Alonso, carried out painting work at Morro Jable Senior Citizens’ Centre to improve the condition and appearance of the municipal facility.

The work included painting the centre’s indoor and outdoor areas, refreshing the various rooms and communal spaces regularly used by its visitors.

Works Councillor Alexis Alonso said: “We are working both inside and outside the centre to improve its condition and provide a better-kept space for the people who use it. We will continue to address the needs of municipal buildings and keep them in the best possible condition.”

Older People’s Councillor Raquel Acosta said: “Municipal centres are places for people to meet and take part in activities, so it is important that they have suitable, welcoming facilities for those who use them.”

Pájara Mayor Alejandro Jorge said: “This work is part of our ongoing efforts to gradually improve public spaces across the municipality. We are committed to continuing work on municipal buildings and addressing the needs identified at each one.”

Pájara Town Council will continue carrying out maintenance and improvement work in different public spaces across the municipality, with the aim of keeping facilities in good condition and providing residents with more functional, well-maintained spaces.
