Interview with Inma Marrero, secretary of the Más Ruines que Caín association
Interview with Inma Marrero, secretary of the Más Ruines que Caín association.
The cultural association Más Ruines que Caín is very pleased with the recent San Miguel Arcángel festivities. It has succeeded in increasing public participation and involving around 75 people in the historical re-enactments, in addition to collaborators in each locality. Its secretary, Inma Marrero, highlights the group’s ability to involve people of all ages—from five-year-old children to people over 85—in recovering Majorera history and traditions. After 17 years of activity, the association is already working on new projects, including the Three Ts Route, an initiative intended to showcase the agricultural and livestock heritage of Tuineje, Tesejerague and Tiscamanita, and attract visitors to inland Fuerteventura.
