Interview with Juan Nicolás Cabrera, president of Asambleas Municipales de Fuerteventura (AMF)

The president of Asambleas Municipales de Fuerteventura will unanimously lead the alliance’s Fuerteventura Island Council election list with Nueva Canarias and Juntos por Pájara, following Juan Cabrera’s decision to step down. Cabrera believes he “may have acted too hastily”. Juan Nicolás Cabrera outlines the electoral agreements in the different municipalities, says he hopes to secure a group of his own in the main local authorities, and acknowledges that his party may have been wrong to expel Coalición Canaria from the Island Council during the previous legislature.
