Torres: “The Canary Islands have a lot at stake on 29N and need an even stronger Socialist voice in Parliament”

The secretary-general of the PSOE in the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, said in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Saturday that his party aims not only to maintain but to increase its current representation in the Cortes Generales, convinced that a comeback is achievable in the face of Núñez Feijóo, whose only proposals are insults and personal attacks.

The first six names on the PSOE’s lists for the elections are as follows. For Congress in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife: José Antonio Valbuena, Marta Arocha, Sergio Matos, Teresa Gutiérrez, David Peraza and Josefa Mesa. In the province of Las Palmas: Dolores Corujo, Luc André Diouf, Vanesa Cabrera, Pedro Sosa, Ada Santana and Alberto Guevara Hernández. The Senate candidates are Pedro Martín and Alicia Alvarez (Tenerife), Juan Jesús Facundo and Marta Saavedra (Gran Canaria), Paloma Hernández (Fuerteventura), Francisco Manuel Fajardo (Lanzarote), Juan Luis Navarro (La Gomera), Alpidio Armas (El Hierro) and Kilian Sánchez San Juan (La Palma).
