‘Busca la Suerte en el Corazón’ scratch-card campaign returns to Puerto del Rosario with €4,000 in prizes

The Puerto del Rosario Business Association has presented the fifth edition of “Busca la Suerte en el Corazón”, a shopping campaign returning for another year with the aim of encouraging people to shop at businesses in the island capital and rewarding those who support local shops.

Sponsored by Puerto del Rosario Town Council, the campaign will run from 8 to 28 October and offer a total of €4,000 in prizes, comprising 16 gift vouchers worth €250 each.

Anyone who spends €10 or more at participating businesses can take part.

Now in its fifth edition, “Busca la Suerte en el Corazón” has become a regular fixture in Puerto del Rosario’s commercial calendar, combining the promotion of local shopping with a direct incentive for consumers.

Daniela Plotegher, president of the Puerto del Rosario Business Association, highlighted the campaign’s continuity, saying: “Reaching a fifth edition shows that ‘Busca la Suerte en el Corazón’ is now a recognisable campaign for businesses and customers.” She added that the aim was “to keep encouraging people to explore our shops, discover everything they have to offer and remember that every purchase we make here helps keep Puerto del Rosario’s business community alive and thriving”.

Plotegher also stressed that the €4,000 in gift vouchers goes straight back into local businesses, creating an impact that lasts beyond the campaign itself. “We want shopping in Puerto del Rosario to bring rewards, but also to highlight the personal service, friendly welcome and variety available in our shops,” she said.

Puerto del Rosario Mayor David de Vera underlined the importance of continuing to support initiatives that help boost the municipality’s economic activity. “Local businesses create jobs, drive our economy and bring life to the streets of Puerto del Rosario, so campaigns like this are a way of encouraging people to keep supporting them,” he said.

Commerce councillor Tacoremi Gutiérrez highlighted how the campaign had developed over the years, saying: “Reaching a fifth edition shows that ‘Busca la Suerte en el Corazón’ has become an established part of the municipality’s commercial calendar, offering an incentive to shop at local businesses and ensuring that the €4,000 in prizes goes back into the local economy.”

The campaign continues with a formula that has gained momentum with each edition: shop at participating businesses, enter the draw and get the chance to win one of 16 €250 gift vouchers, which can then be spent at local shops.

With this fifth edition, the Puerto del Rosario Business Association continues to promote initiatives aimed at boosting commercial activity in the island capital, encouraging people to shop locally and strengthening the relationship between businesses and the community.
